Welcome to the Dessau-Wörlitz Garden Realm!

Nestled amid the Elbe water meadow landscape, six country houses and parks are connected by avenues, vistas and small architectural gems to form the unique cultural landscape of the Dessau-Wörlitz Garden Realm. The Garden Realm is considered to be an exemplary implementation of English landscape design in conjunction with early Classicist and neo-Gothic architectural styles. In 2000 the Dessau-Wörlitz Garden Realm was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site.

On these pages we invite you to discover the Garden Realm and we refer to the special event highlights such as the annual Garden Realm Day and the Garden Realm Summer. The Tourist Information offices in Dessau-Roßlau, Wörlitz and Oranienbaum will be happy to give you any further information you need.
